About Sully’s
The Local’s Favorite Place to Gather
Sully’s Bistro & Bar serves traditional American favorites and seafood dishes in a relaxed, waterfront setting on the Puget Sound. It’s a place to enjoy good food, familiar faces, and an easygoing atmosphere, whether you’re stopping in for a casual meal or planning a longer stay. You’ll find live music, local beers on tap, and daily specials alongside the dishes guests come back for again and again.
A History of Good Food & Great People
Sully’s has been part of the Suquamish community for nearly a century.
The building itself dates back to 1947, spending decades as a bar, tavern, and local gathering place by the water. Over the years, it’s been many things to many people, but it’s always been a spot where locals come together. Today, Sully’s is proud to be one of the longest-running establishments in the area.
In 2018, the current owner, Josh Goffin, took over after a long period of quietly getting to know the restaurant, its staff, and its loyal guests. For months, there were regular drives from Tacoma to Suquamish to get a feel for the place, the food, the staff, and the loyal community that clearly cared about it.
Those visits made one thing clear: Sully’s mattered.
Ownership officially changed in June 2018. In the first year of new ownership, Sully nearly doubled its sales, welcoming many new guests while staying true to the people who had been coming through the doors for years.
Today, Sully’s continues to honor its roots as a neighborhood gathering place while looking ahead. With fresh seafood, rotating specials, familiar favorites, and a deep appreciation for the people who make it possible, the story is still being written. We’re grateful to share it with you.
Giving Back to Our Community
Sully’s has always believed in supporting the people and organizations that make Suquamish strong. Over the years, we’ve been glad to contribute to local fundraising efforts, including Susan G. Komen, Suquamish PTA and Elementary School, Toni’s Ponies Horse Rescue, and Fishline’s work to fight hunger and homelessness.
